Some people like to indulge themselves with perverse statistics like for every Israeli child, 11 Palestinian children have been killed and so on. I mean, my god, get a hold of yourself and come to your senses. Since when did comparing the statistics of child deaths become socially acceptable in order to prove objectively that one side is somehow not as worse as the other.
What is worse is that their cynical confidence, as if in a pure remorseless sense, seems to emulate the likes of Anwar Congo in the Act of Killing. Is it not the same when a barbarian provides an unplugged account of his massacre with such pride so as to make the argument quite clearly that there was a reason. So too, these so called defenders of either side argue that there is quite a legitimate reason for killing and that statistics add to the equation with confidence that one side should seize their retaliatory efforts.
